Don't expect everything that you ask of God to happen in your time frame. God does not bow to our schedules. We wait on Him.
"Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day." Psalm 25:5
"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." Psalm 27:14
"I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry." Psalm 40:1
"My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him." Psalm 62:5
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
"...for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me." Isaiah 49:23
I know we all love to sing, shout, clap, dance and have ourselves a time in worship. But there are times when we also need to be still and wait to hear from God.
"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10
"It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD." Lamentations 3:26
