Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, in your mind you can pray and worship Almighty God. You can be in a restaurant eating, you can be riding some form of public transportation, you can be sitting in a classroom, anywhere -- you can be praying to God and praising Him in your heart in the name of Jesus Christ! It's powerful; try it! Never let up, because we're in a spiritual warfare. And when you praise him, no matter where you are, Jesus will be there.
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. (Psalm 22:3)
God inhabits the praises of His people.
When we are in a crowd of people, we can be praying. We can be praying for the people that we see. We can pray for someone nearby who needs healing, or someone who needs a miracle; we can be praying for the salvation of those around us. This is the will of God that we pray without ceasing. Then, we also need to pray for boldness for the entire Body of Christ that we will speak the word of God boldly (Acts 4:29), instant in season out of season (2 Timothy 4:2).
We can all be serving God continuously if we would just take the time to pray constantly. The more that we do this, the more we will keep our focus on Him, rather than the many things that we find to gripe and complain about. It really is a powerful, blessed and helpful way of life to be praying constantly and praising constantly our God in Christ Jesus!
