"Hallowed by your name!"

Without knowing the name of the Father, you are missing a main ingredient to salvation and the power of God. The name of the Father is Yeshua. Here are some scriptures that tell us His name. When I'm praying, I say, "Hallowed be your name, Yeshua!"

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

I am come in my Father's name. John 5:43 (a quote from Yeshua)

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:12

But these things are written, that ye might believe that Yeshua is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:31

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name [Yeshua] under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1John 5:13

The strongest evidence that I know of that the Father's name is Yeshua is through the instuctions for baptism. In Matthew 28:19, Yeshua told his disciples:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19

Yet, from the opening day of Church on the Day of Pentecost, the Apostles only baptized by using the name of Yeshua (Acts 2:38; Acts 4:12; Acts 8:12, 16; Acts 10:48; Acts 19:5). Did the Apostles make a terrible mistake? No, they knew what the name of the Father was. The next words are Yeshua's in which He is giving witness that his disciples knew the name of the Father.

O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these [the Apostles] have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. John 17:25, 26

Yeshua is the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. To learn more about the name of the Lord Yeshua Christ, see chapter 7.
