Listen to God's Lessons
Back to Home PageIf you have received God's Spirit (also known as the "baptism of the Holy Ghost" and being "born of the Spirit" or "born again"), God's Spirit is dwelling in you.
"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." Romans 8: 9-11
If you have God's Spirit dwelling in you, He will lead you and direct you if you listen to Him. He is constantly teaching us lessons concerning His kingdom.
"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." 1 John 2:27
"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye." Psalm 32:8
"I will pur my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people." Jeremiah 31:33
"And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but they eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." Isaiah 30: 20, 21 (As with any of these scriptures, it's best to read the whole passage and receive the blessing of the whole message.)
We pray for the entire Body of Christ that we all will listen to God speaking to us in the Spirit. We pray that all may be sensitive to His voice when He is teaching us, or telling us anything. It is so blessed to walk with Him in the Spirit; his lessons are beautiful. And let us also share them with our family in the Lord Jesus Christ.
